Our extensive network of resources enables us to efficiently provide the aircraft parts you need, when you need them, and we’ll sort the logistics in order to achieve timely delivery to their destinations. Whether the requirement is for a single hard to find part, an AOG requirement, or for a large provisioning package, we will use all available tools and methods to insure that we’re the solution for you.

Repair/Overhaul

Great Lakes Global may also be able to assist with savings by utilizing our industry relationships to tailor a repair and overhaul program for key components.

Some Statistics...
One airline customer had engine starters overhauled by the manufacturer at an average cost of $34k per unit, with a turnaround time of 6-8 weeks. They came to Great Lakes Global to see if they had any tools that may decrease costs and provide a more reliable delivery window. By utilizing relationships and applying knowledge of the spares market, We were able to cut the cost per overhaul by $20k while improving turnaround time to 21-24 days. The work performed was just as reliable, and the warranty terms identical. If a starter was worn beyond repair, an overhauled replacement unit was provided at a fraction of the cost of new. To date, this arrangement has saved the customer $1m.
